The TTC and its retailers will no longer be selling Adult fare tickets (this begun quietly at the start of July). Reps for the TTC basically said there was no point in producing both tickets and tokens. Stock up on the tokens, and be careful not to pay out the $2.75 coins as dimes!
Speaking of the TTC, please don't be the person that:
- sits in the aisle next to an empty seat, refusing to share on a packed streetcar
- insists on pushing SUV stroller out the front exit at busy boarding stops (use the rear). In fact, everyone, at busy boarding stops, should use the rear exits.
- eats something hot or smelly on the TTC
- wears a giant backpack that smacks into people
- doesn't wear deodorant
- doesn't give up their seat for a senior, disabled person or pregnant woman
- tries to play streetcar DJ. What is with these guys who sit in the back with actual ghettoblasters on the Queen car?
